Evri delivered but not received — what to check first

  1. Screenshot the Evri tracking page. Save the status, tracking number, delivery date and delivery time.
  2. Save the delivery photo. Check whether it shows your actual door, house number, flat entrance, building entrance or recognisable feature.
  3. Look for a safe-place note. Check whether Evri says it was left in a porch, shed, bin area, behind a gate, doorstep, hallway or another location.
  4. Check neighbour wording. If it says “delivered to neighbour”, note whether Evri gives a house number, name or any details.
  5. Ask the retailer for the full Evri record. Do not accept only “tracking says delivered” if the photo or location is unclear.

If the Evri photo has no house number or shows a shared area

A photo of a parcel on a doorstep, in a communal hallway, beside bins or behind a gate is not always strong proof. Ask the retailer to explain what feature in the photo links the parcel to your actual address.

Your comparison evidence can be simple. Send a photo of your real door, flat entrance, building entrance, parcel box, hallway or safe place. Point out differences such as door colour, number plate, mat, brickwork, hallway layout, gate, porch, bins or building entrance.

If Evri tracking says delivered but there is no photo

If Evri tracking shows delivered but there is no delivery photo, ask the retailer what evidence they are relying on. A delivered scan on its own may not explain where the parcel was left, who accepted it, or whether it reached your address.

Ask for the timestamp, courier notes, safe-place record, neighbour details and any location evidence available. If the retailer cannot provide anything beyond the delivered scan, say that the evidence has not shown delivery to you, your address or an authorised place.

Evri safe-place deliveries

Evri parcels are often left in places such as porches, sheds, bins, side gates, communal entrances or doorsteps. The key question is whether you authorised that location and whether it was a reasonable place to leave the parcel.

  • Did I authorise that safe place before delivery?
  • Does the Evri photo show the parcel was left securely?
  • Was the parcel visible from the street or a shared area?

Evri delivered to neighbour but you still do not have it

If Evri says the parcel was delivered to a neighbour, ask the retailer for the neighbour details. A vague “left with neighbour” note is weaker than a clear house number, name, signature or delivery note.

Evri delivered to the wrong address

If the photo shows a different door, different house number, different flat entrance, or a location you do not recognise, treat it as a possible wrong-address delivery.

Evri ParcelShop or collection-point problems

If the tracking says the parcel went to a ParcelShop, locker or collection point, check whether it is waiting for collection, has been collected by someone else, was returned to sender, or was scanned incorrectly. Save any collection code, pickup message, store message, return update and tracking screenshot.

If the parcel was marked collected but you did not collect it, ask the retailer what ID, code, signature or collection record was used. If the parcel was returned to sender, ask whether the retailer will resend or refund the order.

If the retailer says Evri confirmed delivery

Ask the retailer what Evri actually confirmed. There is a difference between a delivery scan and strong evidence that the parcel reached your address.

If the retailer sends a short answer such as “Evri has confirmed delivery”, reply by asking for the specific evidence: photo, timestamp, location evidence, safe-place note, neighbour detail or collection scan. Keep the request focused on what proves delivery to your address, not just whether Evri scanned the parcel as delivered.
